Your Role in Our Mission:

The Chapter Development Intern works with the Chapter Development Team on all aspects of the Fraternity’s member experience and leadership development programming to ensure the Fraternity is providing relevant, replicable and appropriate support, education and training to its members. The Education Team is integral in providing lifelong learning opportunities for the personal development of our members.

Your success will be defined by your ability to produce high quality work against hard deadlines, build collaborative and productive relationships with staff, volunteers and vendors and be proactive in anticipating and addressing educational needs of the Fraternity.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work with the Chapter Development Team to develop, implement and review the Fraternity’s development strategy. 

  • Assist the Chapter Development Team with the administration of collegiate member information, statistics, and reports including Change in Membership Status, badge orders and database updates. 

  • Work on a master Advisor roster to identify active and inactive advisor support. 

  • Work with Chapter Development Managers on Circle of Excellence form audit and updates for the 2022 - 2023 academic year. 

  • Collaborate with various departments and external audiences in communicating and achieving organization initiatives.

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required. The ideal candidate is pursuing a graduate degree related to education or learning and development. 

  • One to three years of related experienced is desired. Experience may include opportunities from one’s undergraduate experience. 

  • Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta (or another fraternity/sorority) is preferred. 

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required and experience utilizing a learning management platform is extremely desirable. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Reports to: Director of Chapter Development

Job-Status: Non-exempt, hourly employee

Position: Temporary; may be eligible to work remotely

Schedule: 30 hours a week (a set schedule, including start and end date, will be determined based on intern availability)

Compensation: $15.00/hour
