Your Role in Our Mission:
The Learning & Development Manager manages the Fraternity’s education and training programs in collaboration with members of Fraternity staff, Foundation staff and the Volunteer Service Team (VST). The Learning & Development Manager will ensure the Fraternity is providing relevant, replicable and appropriate support, education and training to both its members and the broader community.
Your success will be defined by your ability to develop high quality curriculum that fosters connection and a sense of belonging; to build collaborative and productive relationships with staff, volunteers and members; and to meet the needs of a growing, changing organization.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Work as a member of the Fraternity’s Wellness and Education Team to implement the Fraternity’s education and training strategy.
- Oversee the implementation of the Fraternity’s member experience programming, the Epsilon Pi Journey.
- Manage the Fraternity's premier leadership program, Empower, which is a cohort-style learning program that concludes with an-person leadership institute each spring.
- Utilize appropriate methods for developing and implementing Fraternity education, leadership development and training programs, including facilitator-led and e-learning mediums. Oversee and manage the Fraternity's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Assist with educational and training components of the Fraternity’s international meetings and conferences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of Fraternity programming and training at all levels with respect to the Fraternity’s mission, vision and strategic plan. Recommend changes as appropriate.
- Coordinate grant applications to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation for educational and leadership funding.
- Collaborate with Fraternity staff members to manage the Fraternity Wellness and Education team student internships, when offered.
- Support Salesforce account management, including setting up new user accounts, updating records, and assisting with basic system maintenance and organization. Serve as a go-to resource for general troubleshooting and user support (non-technical).
- Serve as staff liaison for a committee of Volunteer Service Team members.
- Travel as a representative of the Fraternity for chapter visits, Academy for Collegiate Officers, Academy for Chapter Advisors, Convention, university presentations and other purposes as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years’ experience in a related field preferred
- Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability and willingness to travel as a representative of the Fraternity when needed
- Must be able and willing to lift and carry items 35-50 lbs occasionally

Job-Status: Exempt, salaried
Reports to: Associate Director of Fraternity Wellness
